Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, when asked about rumors of removing President Asif Ali Zardari, stated that for the first time, politicians, the government, and the military establishment are united, and that is bothering some people. He advised not to believe anything circulating on social media.

Speaking to the media in Sukkur, Naqvi said, “Today, 2,700 processions are being held across the country. Sukkur is hosting the largest procession in Pakistan. The credit for managing this massive procession goes to the entire team. All processions will conclude peacefully by the evening.”

A journalist asked, “There are rumors that Asif Zardari is being removed as President and a new constitutional amendment is being introduced?” In response, Mohsin Naqvi said, “I request that we avoid political discussions for just two days. It would be much better. Don’t trust social media news. Some people are upset about why we are all united.”

He added, “For the first time, politicians, the government, and the military establishment are standing together, and some people can’t handle that. That’s why such rumors are being spread.”

When asked whether the federal government is unaware of the law and order situation in Sindh districts like Shikarpur, Kashmore, and Kandhkot, Naqvi responded, “We are well aware. Just like terrorists were driven out of KP, we will deal with bandits as well. The federal and provincial governments will work together to eliminate the dacoits.”
