
Washington: In response to the recent Israeli strikes on Iran, former U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that Iran must not be allowed to possess a nuclear bomb.
Speaking to the American media, Trump acknowledged that he was aware of the Israeli attack on Iran but clarified that the United States had no involvement in the operation.
“Iran cannot be allowed to have a nuclear weapon, and we remain hopeful that Iran will return to the negotiating table,” Trump said during the interview.
Commenting further on the Israeli airstrikes, Trump added, “There are many individuals in leadership who will never return.”
Israeli Airstrikes Target Iranian Nuclear and Military Sites
It is important to note that Israel has officially launched a military offensive against Iran. The Israeli air force targeted key nuclear and military installations, resulting in significant casualties.
Among those reportedly killed are Major General Hossein Salami, commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Chief of General Staff Mohammad Bagheri, and a prominent nuclear scientist.
